The first Batman and the third Indiana Jones were the big winners at the box office while Driving Miss Daisy, My Left Foot, and Born on the Forth of July did well at the Oscars.
Robin Williams had a breakthrough dramatic role in Dead Poet's Society and other notable movies included Whe Harry Met Sally, Steel Magnolias, cult-classic Heathers, James Cameron's The Abyss, Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing, and Kenneth Branagh's adaptation of Henry V.
