Avalanche By Patrick Mondout
Another in a long line of Super70s
disaster films, Avalanche stars Rock Hudson as the majority owner of a
swanky new ski resort in Durango, Colorado who is determined to make every
last dollar he can. His plan involves cutting down "extra" trees
on his mountain, which ecologists are telling him could leave the resort
more vulnerable to an avalanche. Meanwhile, his ex-wife (Mia Farrow) is
having a go at one of the local ecologists. You can pretty much guess the
rest.
