Beatles - Let It Be .gif) By Rickey Wright
Sloppy in conception, and even sometimes in the playing, Let It Be
often gets a bad rap. Unfairly, as it's often as charming, well written,
and (oh yeah) rocking as the Beatles' "better" albums; it's also
more outright fun than Abbey Road, the masterpiece it followed into
the stores. With Lennon and McCartney working together on the perfect
"I've Got a Feeling," "Two of Us," and "Dig a
Pony," it's hard to believe these guys were about to implode.

"I agree that Let it be isn't the worst album The Beatles ever made, but it runs a close second. Not only are the songs for the most part second-rate, the perfomances lack any form of commitment from the group. It also contains two of the most overrated songs; let it be and across the universe. Thank goodness that Dont Let me Down, in my opinion the worst song they ever recorded, wasnt included on the album.
As big a beatles fan as I am, Let it be is the album I play the least. A sad end to a great record career." --Anonymous | "I bought Let it Be the week it was released and have loved it ever since. I never got the critics "ill fated" description of this album. I don't think I've ever heard a song that could stir sad emotions the way The Long and Winding Road does. Perhaps this is the 2nd saddest song the beatles ever recorded, the first being She's Leaving Home." --AG | "I think Let It Be is a great classic rock album by the Beatles even though it's not creatively, musically & artistically a masterpiece like Abbey Road even though I think some fans were expecting way too much but there are some great tracks on it which are rock classics in their own right while their classic documentary of the same name with the Beatles, creating, arguing, jamming & rocking on the rooftop near the end is better than Woodstock.
