""Past, Present, & Future" is one of the best albums ever recorded because of Al Stewart's efforts to highlight a host of well-known, and not so well-known, historical events into a well-produced album. "Post World Was Two Blues" is a worthy "across the ocean" tribute to Don McLean's "American Pie, " "Road to Moscow" beautifully records a tragic entry into serious paranoia by Stalin, and "Nostradamus" is a wonderful exploration into the incredibly interesting predictions of this French "seer. " The fact that one artist would take on such a historical musical retrospective is amazing, and Al's ability to pull it off so well on one album is truly "historic. "
