We've not had time to write about this album yet. If you are a fan, we'd love to have you help us out by writing a review (see below)! A misjudged Olivia album, in my
opinion. Her version of ''Don't Cry for Me Argentina'' is just one of the
many highlights and her live performance of this song in Australia in 1980
(performed before the Queen) saw her record company rush release it as a
single and soon became a top 40 hit.
This album is full of ballads and country tunes all of which are done
in true ONJ style, and lets face it nobody does a ballad better than
Livvy.
This album should have been more successful than it was. The album even
includes the self-penned ''You Won't See Me Cry'' a very intelligent
attempt by Olivia. Best cuts are "Argentina"', "If Love is
Real", "Slow Dancing", "Making a Good Thing
Better" and "It's So Easy to Begin". A definite 8/10
rating!
