Your Memories Shared!

"I greatly loved Andy Gibb and his musc. He was an unappreciated singer and songwriter. In fact, to this date, Andy Gibb continues to have the record for all of his first three songs going to number one.

Andy was a kind, intelligent, and gentle person. I know because he was a personal friend during the years 1974-1988, and we would have remained great friends were it not for Andy's passng.

There was much more to Andy Gibb than drinking and other drugs. He was one of the most wonderful people I have ever had the honor of knowing."

"A tremendous album!! A lovely blend of mellow, disco love songs & strong Gibb ballads. A lovely extension from a Bee Gees album. Truly a masterpiece."

"I have greatly enjoyed Andy Gibb and his musical voice during the years since 1977, hard to believe that it has been so long. I like the albums Shadow Dancing and Flowing Rivers more than the later work. Andy's songs are beautiful, especially, "Why" and "Good Feeling" on Shadow Dancing and "Words and Music" and all the others on Flowing Rivers.

Often, people are quick to dismiss Andy as simply sailing on the coattails of the other Gibb brothers. However, Andy was an accomplished singer/songwriter dating back to his earliest work at the age of fourteen in Australia and Britain. The most expressive of Andy's songs are those which he wrote himself, with no assistance from his older brother."

"I will quote the words of our four year old. We were looking at Andy Gibb for the first time on the internet, we were trying to find music to listen to from Andy Gibb, while waiting for the webpage to come up, she chanted outloud ,"We want Andy!, We want Andy! I would have sworn we were at a concert and could hear the audience chant. I said little girl you were born at the wrong time. Sweet!"

--Alexis Said It

"Favorite song from that Album is the title cut. I would alway get down to that song. When I was 7 years old. I'm a Super70s fan. Forever. Yep. "
