1970 O-Pee-Chee CFL Football Cards

O-Pee-Chee produced a 115 card set of Canadian Football League (CFL) stars. The cards feature backs written in both French and English. This was OPC's first CFL set since 1968 and only the second overall.

Wax packs of the cards featured one of 16 inserts called a "push out." These were similar to stickers but you had to moisten the back yourself (directions in both languages were included). The 16 players featured were: Ed Harrington, Danny Nykoluk, Tommy Joe Coffey, Angelo Mosca, Ken Sugarman, Jay Roberts, Joe Poirer, Corey Colehour, Dave Gasser, Wally Gabler, Paul Desjardins, Larry DeGraw, Jerry Keeling, Gerry Shaw, Terry Evanshen, and Sonny Wade.

A complete checklist of the 1970 O-Pee-Chee Canadian Football League cards follows. In case you are wondering, card #115 describes the numbering system used in the CFL (QBs and RBs wore jersey #s 1-39, etc.) so you can more easily identify the players.
