1970 Topps Super Glossy Football CardsBy Patrick Mondout
Topps produced a set of 2¼ x 3¼ glossy inserts for the second
series of football cards. These very colorful cards with rounded
corners on heavier card stock should not be confused with the "Topps
Super" oversized cards. These cards feature a color photo on the
front with a gradient-filled background and a glossy finish. The backs are
largely blank with only the player's name, position, team, and card
number.
