Super Bowl VIII

The Dolphins became the first team since the Packers to win back-to-back Super Bowls by beating the Minnesota Vikings 24-7 in Super Bowl VIII. CBS broadcast the game from Rice Stadium with announcers Ray Scott, Bart Starr, and Pat Summerall.

The Dolphins scored the first 24 points of the game, which was not competitive after the first quarter. Larry Csonka picked up the MVP after running for a game high 145 yards and two touchdowns and became the first running back to win the award.
