1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
One of the NFL's two new franchises for 1976 (Seattle
was the other), the Buccaneers played their first season in the AFC West.
The league gave the two new teams unique schedules. The Buccaneers only
played the fellow AFC teams and the Seahawks, which were in the NFC West,
played only the other NFC teams with one exception: The 'Hawks and Bucs
matched up against each other in week 6 with the Seahawks pulling out
their first win. The horrendous Bus would have to wait until lucky week
13 - of 1977 - for their first victory!
