In the Beginning

McLean Stevenson of M*A*S*H, playing a man of the cloth? Yep! "In The Beginning" was his second network outing after three seasons as Henry Blake. CBS brought him back again in this somewhat touching yet, not very believable sitcom (his being a man of God that is). It was basically about the up's & down's of running a church and being a reverend. The show did not receive a "flock" of viewers and was canceled after a very short run. I saw it but being 10 at the time, it was a bit over my head for my age. The best thing to say about it is, it's better than Hello, Larry!
