Delphi BureauBy jonnyquest
Lawrence Luckinbill worked for the cryptic secret US government
"Delphi Bureau." His boss was Celeste Holm - or her twin?
Anyway, he had photographic memory & used it to solve major crimes or
threats to the USA. It also helped him escape countless dangers &
traps.
The excellent pilot aired on the ABC`s Tuesday Night movie & used
vignettes like The FBI did, small segments of the
story broken up by commercials.
Mr. Luckinbill was an anti-hero drafted because of his abilities but
reluctant to serve or challenge or fight, but he did so because it was
right and there was usually a hot girl somewhere lurking in the show. The
show never lived up to the pilot move as stories grew repetitive &
Luckinbill's character, though interesting, was kind of dry.

Why nothing on "The Men"??? I still remeber the cool Isaac Hayes theme music. Wasn't Robert Conrad in this show too??? --Marcellus (Indy) | Note: This is just a random sample of the Delphi Bureau messages in our TV forums! Click here to see what others have said or to post your own comments! |
