The "People " television show was the most expensive 1/2 hour TV show to be produced up to that time. Ms. George's co-host was Mark Shaw. The executive Producer was David Susskind and Charlotte Shiff-Jones, the show's producer. The creative consultant was Howard Lamden.

Although eight shows were completed before being canceled in November 1978, only the first seven aired in the United States. All eight episodes did air in Canada though.
