All Nippon Airways (ANA) 58

On July 30, 1971, All Nippon Airways (ANA) flight number 58, a regularly scheduled Boeing 727 flight from Sapporo to Tokyo, Japan, was hit in midair by a Japanese Air Self-Defense Force F-86F fighter flown by a student and his instructor. Although the pilot of the North American F-86F ejected safely, everyone on board the ANA 727 was killed.
