"Oh I must admit to falling hard for this one, although I owned every record they ever made to that date. I even QUIT pre-med and joined the music business thinking hey, why not get the chance to be a peer? Drove around in my old VW Bug til I found 461 Ocean Boulevard for trivia kicks… However, as fate would have it I finally met them one year later at Criteria while playing pinball in the studio with a friend in Lynyrd Skynyrd (who were recording Street Survivor at the time).
