"This is probably one of the FINEST albums ever made. Karen's rendition of Desperado is far superior than any other recording of that song. This album was the Carpenters first release since 1973 in the United States. It was after this their careers seem to stall. How sad to think the golden voice has been silenced forever." --dKeen43 | "The Carpenters were the greatest sister and brother dual I had ever heard. I feel in love with their music when their song SuperStar came out. I have their Love Songs which were released by Richard Carpenter.
The Carpenters music is great. It is what the Super70s were all about. I miss Karen. It is a tragedy that she died in February of 83 at such a young age of 32.
Their music lives on though." --chicagobaby55 | "Arguably the BEST Carpenters album of all time. They really seemed to "grow up" for this one. Karen's voice is perfect. Absolutely fantastic piece of work!!!" --Anonymous |
